Open 32

We collaborated with Dutch fashion group Open 32 and their own jeans label Silvercreek. For this unique collaboration we collected 3000 kg’s of post-consumer jeans to ‘chairish into new furniture’

We made use of this mountain of textile waste to make Open 32 customers more aware about sustainability and what happens with their old jeans after they are discarded. To make this an interactive marketing campaign, consumers had to bring their old jeans and received a voucher for a discount of €25,- on their next pair of jeans. We collected and recycled the old jeans into new applications for in the stores.

A total of 70 shopping windows throughout The Netherlands were designed to make shoppers aware of the campaign. The combination of cardboard which is fully recyclable and our Rezign Veneer made from denim waste makes the story and branding of Silvercreek and Open32 complete. Another example are more then 750 hourglasses with blue magnetic sand. This point of sale items reflect the endless possibilities and recyclability in a circular way.

We believe in collaborations and to make the world a little bit better by working together with brands.  This collaboration started with a photoshoot and video campaign where Planq founders Anton and Dennis are the models that show how the denim chairs are made.

In a launch event we designed and explained our story to be followed up by over 600 Silvercreek retailers.
