The Ubu Chair’s name is derived from the South African Ubuntu, which stands for humanity, sharing, and sustainability. This Scandinavian-inspired chair stands out by its solid, curved wood, and high-quality connections. The seat and back are made of our self-developed Rezign® Veneer. This is a material made of textile waste combined with a biodegradable binder, which is compressed into a solid seat.
Just one Ubu Chair consists of 7.2 denim jeans. The frame is available in FSC® certified solid oak and walnut wood.
Rather go for soft seatings? Besides the recycled hard seatings, we also offer a wide range of recycled soft upholsteries. Choose from recycled pet bottles or recycled leather for ultimate comfort.
This stackable hospitality chair is ideal to place in a bar, restaurant, canteen, or event. The Ubu Chair comes in various finishes, such as army clothing, suits, and coffee bags.
