A space shaped by coffee, sound and thoughtful design.
For A Sense of Place in Amsterdam, Planq furniture forms part of an interior designed around slowing down, connecting and enjoying the moment. Our tables, chairs and bar stools help shape the different areas of the space, bringing warmth, tactility and material character into the interior.
The material story is closely connected to the world of coffee itself. For the Row Table and XY60 Chair, we used material made from discarded jute coffee bags. These bags are traditionally used to transport coffee around the world and are often damaged during handling, making them unsuitable for reuse in their original form.
The result is an interior where material, function and context come together naturally. What once carried coffee now becomes part of the place where coffee is shared.
